Our Staff

Kylie became the Director of RJS Accounting Services Pty Ltd in October 2000. Kylie began her professional career with RSM Bird Cameron (now RSMi) in Perth in 1989. Kylie’s position with RSM Bird Cameron took her far and wide, with appointments in Western Australian regional centres, secondment with RSM Robson Rhodes in London, and finally the position of Manager in RSM Bird Cameron’s Adelaide office, responsible for the growth and development of audit and business services throughout South Australia. Kylie is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and has extensive experience in business services, auditing and tax compliance work.

Terry is a Manager and divides his time between our Tewantin and Woodgate offices, servicing clients in both areas. Terry has more than 31 years experience in the accounting industry, and specialises in self managed superannuation funds, tax compliance and business advisory services. Terry prides himself on being a Bundaberg local and his presence in our Woodgate office is invaluable. Terry joined RJS Accounting Services more than 10 years ago, has held various senior management positions in Accounting firms in Brisbane and regional Queensland, as well as spending five years as a small business person himself.

Shane is one of our Senior Accountants and has in excess of 35 years’ accounting experience. Shane began his career as a Junior Bookkeeper with CB Boyle, McKie & Co Public Accountants, quickly rising to the position of Tax Senior. Shane’s expertise continued to be honed over the years, through various senior positions with Chartered Accounting firms in the Sunshine Coast region. Shane has been with RJS Accounting Services for more than 10 years and his areas of expertise include tax compliance and self managed superannuation funds.

Nell first joined our firm in 1993 as Office Junior, upon completing her high school studies. Nell quickly rose from this position, to tax preparer and manager of our office costing system, before leaving the firm to move to Toowoomba. Nell returned to RJS Accounting Services in 2004 and began her own Accounting degree, and is looking forward to finishing those studies next year.

Penny worked for Chartered Accounting firms in various support staff roles for more than 12 years before deciding to begin her Accounting degree in 2005. Penny began work with RJS Accounting Services in July 2008 on a part time basis while finishing her studies. Penny graduated from Edith Cowan University in January 2010 with a double major in Accounting and Finance, earning herself the Financial Services Institute of Australasia’s prize for the graduating student with the highest weighted average mark in the Finance major. Penny is now working full time with RJS and is a candidate for the Institute of Chartered Accountants program, having begun those studies this year.

Jane is our Office Manager and most often will be the first person you see or speak to at our office. Jane commenced with RJS Accounting Services in July 2004, bringing with her years of office administrative and telling experience.
