RJS Accounting Services was established during 1981, with our managing partner, Kylie Anderson joining the practice on the 6th November 2000. Since then, Kylie has firmly established herself and her family on the Sunshine Coast.
Whilst the firm was predominantly an accounting and taxation practice, Kylie's qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and her extensive experience brought additional skills to the firm. Kylie started her professional career with RSM Bird Cameron – a national accounting practice – in 1989 as a graduate accountant in Perth, before taking up a country posting to Merredin, in the Western Australian wheatbelt. In 1992 Kylie was promoted to the position of audit manager and transferred to Kalgoorlie in the Western Australian Goldfields.
In 1996, while on secondment with RSM's international affiliate in London, Kylie was appointed Regional Manager for Kalgoorlie. During October 1998 she moved to Adelaide, primarily responsible for the growth and development of audit and business services throughout the state of South Australia. During October 2000, the opportunity arose for Kylie to take a partnership in what is now her own accounting practice – an opportunity she could not resist.
The practice services clients covering a great distance – in fact we have clients in every state and territory in Australia – and a range of industries from medical professionals to meat traders through to share and property investors. In addition to our business services clients, we provide accounting and audit services to over 100 Self-managed Superannuation Funds, ensuring that we are leaders in this field.
Our team members are well-known for their accessibility, with a strict 24 hour response policy to telephone messages. All staff attend regular training sessions, ensuring their knowledge remains current in this ever-changing legislative environment in which we find ourselves.
A number of our staff are fluent with client-based accounting packages such as MYOB and Quickbooks and they are available for support or bookkeeping services if required.
